Chris Huovinen,
money guy
chris@worshipfoundations.com
Chris initially connected with WFI way back in the summer of '02 when Martin was teaching at Glorieta student week outside of Santa Fe, NM. God led him to spend time in both Nepal and Zimbabwe with WFI teams ('03) playing music and loving people. Chris will be serving as director of finance and staff accountant among other things. He and his wife, Stephanie, live outside Nashville, TN where Chris is on staff with Dave Ramsey. He's a graduate of Auburn University and, while there, was involved in Grace Campus Ministries serving as their worship leader.
Josie Leung,
Global Impact Coordinator
josie@worshipfoundations.com
Josie is an ABC (American Born Chinese), and like all good first generation Chinese kids, she took music lessons from before she can remember. She had no idea the 14 years of classical training, tests, recitals, and pleas to be allowed to quit could be foundational for so much joy! After years of short-term mission ventures as a youth/children’s ministry leader, pseudo English teacher, and cooking instructor imposter, she connected with WFI in 2008 and went with them on a Global Impact trip to India and SE Asia. The combination of music and mission was a perfect fit, so she joined WFI full time in 2009. Josie is currently a member of a local church in La Puente, California, where she is serving in music ministries, helping with youth short-term missions, and learning how to be an ultimate ninja.
Martin Allen,
president
martin@worshipfoundations.com
A native of Owensboro, Kentucky, Martin now lives in Los Angeles, California. He has a BA in Politics from Wake Forest Univ. and a MA in Worship from Hope Int'l University. His passion is worship, his devotion is the Kingdom, and his commitment is to training up the emerged, emerging, and submerged generations of worship leaders. Martin was a founding partner with WFI back in 1995 and a former Director of the Southern California Worship Institute. Deeply enjoying life and God are his particular hobbies. Martin married Emily Kristine in June of 2006 and spends a considerable amount of time thinking about how cool it is to be her husband.
