The journey’s purpose?:

to help musicians grow in the craft of songwriting while growing in their knowledge of Christ, both within the context of community. The journey will allow songwriters to experience greater depths of God and include those depths in their music.

We will be traveling the back roads of Europe, hanging out where our spiritual fathers hung out centuries ago. By day we’ll see the country and its villages. At night, we’ll study the writings of three of Christendom’s most influential figures from a Biblical perspective and then write songs out of what we’ve discussed.

• be thrust into a community of other songwriters and musicians that will sharpen you in your craft.
• have the opportunity to be led by a contemporary thinker and author who will challenge you into new and deeper waters of life.
• be coached in songwriting by two of today’s leading songwriters.

• visit some really cool and random locales in Europe.
• see Europe for what it is and as it should be seen, not just the Eiffel Tower and Big Ben.
• hopefully, write songs that could influence lives for years to come
• just as those works we’ll study have.
• travel by boat, plane, car, van, bus, train, gondola, and any other means
  possible to get where we want to go.
• spend the night in some crazy places from plush to rustic.
